Mercenaries, Spies and Private Eyes

This game of modern-day intrigue and action hit the shelves in 1983, and a 1999 Pyramid column named it one of the most underrated games of the millennium. The first edition was published by Blade (a division of Flying Buffalo), while the second edition was put out in 1986 by Sleuth Publications. Tunnels & Trolls

Considered the second modern roleplaying game ever published (after Dungeons & Dragons), Tunnels & Trolls (also known as T&T) was set in a fantasy world where characters could take on the roles of humans, dwarves, elves, fairies, and even hobbits. Written by Ken St. Andre, T&T (along with Mercenaries, Spies and Private Eyes) was listed as one of the most underrated RPGs of the millennium by Pyramid magazine.

The first edition of Tunnels and Trolls was released in 1975. Version 7.5 came out in 2008. In between, it has been translated and published in countries such as Italy, Finland, Japan, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
